It is my profound privilege and honour to welcome you to the World Association of Oculofacial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons (WAOPRS) — a global academic community dedicated to excellence in oculofacial plastic surgery, innovation, research, and international collaboration. Since its establishment on 18th December 2018, WAOPRS has grown into a dynamic international platform that unites surgeons, academicians, scientists, educators, and young clinicians who are passionate about advancing the art, science, and future of oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Oculofacial plastic surgery is a unique discipline that blends microsurgical precision, scientific rigor, and aesthetic finesse. It addresses some of the most delicate and complex conditions affecting the eyelids, orbit, lacrimal system, and periocular region. As this field continues to expand with new techniques, technologies, and therapeutic approaches, the need for a strong, united global community has never been greater.
WAOPRS was founded to fulfil this need.
